1 Corinthians 10:13 - God NEVER needs to test you in order to learn something new about you, He already knows the end result. Through these times of testing, He is simply trying to show you something about yourself; to make you more self-assured and confident through faith in His abilities to see you through, NOT by your own abilities. Every test you go through is allowed for your own self-discovery; each one is an opportunity for a learned lesson to give you confidence as you proceed to do He specific will for your life. - just a thought"

NKJ 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long AND is kind-
A better way of saying, “suffers long” would be to say, “love is patient”.
The best definition I ever heard on the definition of patience is from Joyce Meyer- “Patience is your attitude while waiting.”
I heard her say this many years ago and it has literally become a part of my Christian make-up. I’m not saying that I am perfect and never slip but I am saying that each time I chose patience over frustration and annoyance, I am all the better for it.
Today, I can safely say that I exercise patience so much better than years past, and I’m sure you can agree with me when I say, ‘every day we have opportunities to practice patience.’
But patience is much more than just holding your tongue and waiting patiently in life circumstances. The second part of that verse says, “AND is kind”.
This word means to act benevolently- having a desire to do good, to be a blessing.
Paul is saying that not only should we practice patience (our attitude while waiting) but look to see where we can be a blessing in the midst of waiting.
Now we are getting into some surgery when it comes to our character. But what better way than to spit in the devils eye then to take those opportunities of patience and add kindness just for good measure.
Remember…. Jesus suffers long AND is kind – aren’t you thankful for His example?

2 Cor. 9:8 - And God is able to make ALL grace abound toward you, that you, always having ALL sufficiency in ALL things, may have an abundance for EVERY good work.
God is able….
to make ALL grace ABOUND towards you….
Using this Greek word "abound", Paul is saying that God’s grace is more than enough, in fact so much more to the point of being unnecessary. This word also means that His grace is proven to be more powerful than any opposing forces that going on around you.
Always having ALL SUFFINCIENCY….
Having all sufficiency is having fulfillment, being content in all things pertaining to your life. It literally means that every need is met.
Having an ABUNDANCE in every good work
This is that same Greek work that Paul used earlier in describing the word abound. He is saying that in every good work that you do for Him, you will have what you need. In fact, you will have more than enough, so much more that it will be too much. And that Gods abundance is proven to be more powerful than any opposing forces that will attempt to take it or hinder you in any way.
Now reread V. 7 with 8……do you believe God IS able? Don’t think about whether or not if He will do it for you (that will get you in a conversation of doubt with the devil and your own inabilities) simply believe that HE IS ABLE! And you will see Him move on your behalf every time!!!!!!!!
Make a statement of faith everyday using Gods word- I believe that God is ABLE to make ALL grace abound towards me. I believe that I have ALL sufficiency in ALL things. I believe I have an abundance for EVERY good work that He has given me to carry out. - just a thought"

A couple of days ago, a friend of mine, whom I greatly admire, asked me, "if I was willing to risk failure for the pursuit of what I believe about God concerning my future". Surprisingly I couldn't answer her right away, I had to give some deep thought to it. I have always taken steps of surety, never wanting to take the chance of missing God. This has only hindered me from going forward so many times in my life, or at least at a snails pace. I see that clearly now. I had to go home and put it on my wall, WOULD I RISK FAILURE FOR THE PURSUIT OF WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT GOD CONCERNING MY FUTURE? For 2 days I have been staring at this question. Now If you are a fly off the seat of your pants kind of person, then this would be an easy answer. If you are somewhat of a cautious person, you might be hesitant before giving your answer. But if you have a tendency to over analyze, a person that just has to think everything through, where it all has to make sense before making even the slightest commitment. This is NOT an easy answer to give. It requires a strong commitment of faith in what you believe you heard from God and trust, trust, trust regardless of what it looks like. Looking at the piece of paper that is taped on the wall beside me, "WOULD I RISK FAILURE FOR THE PURSUIT OF WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT GOD CONCERNING MY FUTURE? I finally believe I can answer it, YES!! Because I realize that the future my Father wants for me is solely His responsibility to make happen. My part is faith and obedience. -Just a thought

" Mt 3:11-He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit AND fire". As we read this verse, we tend to want to link the words Holy Spirit & fire hand in hand b/c of the word "AND" when in actuality the meaning of these two words are complete polar opposites of one another. Ref. to "fire" (strongs 4442) in the NT is always related to either a physical fire, eternal damnation or as a metaphor to describe trials/tests. See also Acts 2:3, 1 Cor 3:11-15.
Also, if we believe that the Holy Spirit alone supplies our every need then why is fire disassociated from Him UNLESS the word fire is being used separate and in contrast to who He is.
That being said, let me share another way of looking at this, to be baptized is to be fully immersed into. John is saying here that Jesus will fully immerse you (believers) w/the Holy Spirit AND He will fully immerse you (unbelievers) w/fire; eternal damnation.
Finally, if we continue on w/v.12 we will see John going into more detail (believers are the wheat and unbelievers are the chaff). LOL... we sing about the fire and even pray for it but... do you REALLY want to experience it now that you know? - just a thought"

While the devil is preparing ppl for the Anti Christ, God is preparing ppl for the Rapture. I don’t know when the rapture will take place but I do believe it could be soon. I also believe this is a time that God is giving us a chance to repent. We need to get the Gospel message out!!! Until the Good Lord calls me away from this world to go home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the True Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and that He rose from the dead on the third day. He loves us all dearly (far more than we deserve) and forgives our sins when we repent. His Word says John 3:16 "whosoever believeth in Me , should not perish but have ever lasting life.”
The bible also says Matthew 10:33 "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which art in heaven
Can I get an Amen for being a believer in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit?

A golden nugget- Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The full Grk trans. is- "I can be strong in health and body, having the ability to endure, conquering, overcoming and prevailing in extraordinary deeds in the One who gives me the strength, power, authority, and the ability to conquer, overcome and prevail in extraordinary deeds" SO BE STRONG IN THE ONE EMPOWERING YOU! - just a thought"

Deut. 18:20 - The prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name which I have not commanded him/her to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die,
(doing a short study on bible prophets and came across this. I believe wholeheartedly in Grace-Jesus, I also believe that there is some truth to the seriousness in what is being said here)
(For those who don't know if the word they got came from our Father directly, there's good news- Deut.18:21 and if you say in your heart, "how shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken"? (answer) V.22 "when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him" (I am adding nor in the words he/she speaks over you. NEVER say Amen to a word or a prayer that is spoken over you IF you are unsure that it is of the Lord, Saying Amen is saying "let it be done unto me" and there are some people out there who say some crazy things. If you are not sure if it is from the Lord, say nothing and if it is, it will come to pass no matter what) - just a thought"
